Rachel Port

An artist from the start, Rachel has dabbled in everything from pottery and painting, to drawing and design. Since 2017, she has focused on fluid acrylic pouring. Departing from the precision of realist drawing and painting, the fluid process forced her to let go of perfection and allow the paint to guide itself across the canvas. Inspired by celestial forms, eyes, and vibrant landscapes, Rachel creates her own abundantly colorful planetary and cellular scenes. She completed her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art at Skidmore College, where she studied the effects of color on human emotion and behavior.

Rachel’s interests include music, dancing, event decor and production, makeup art, travel, languages, and taking portraits of every cute animal and beautiful plant she sees. You can often find her decorating the faces of party-goers, setting up shop at events and markets, and dancing to dreamy deep house music with her friends. Her passion for festival and rave culture, coupled with her experience in the arts, gave her the inspiration to create clothing designed for music festivals and events in her local community of Brooklyn and beyond!
